Tracey’s extensive employment with Washoe County and her service on the employee association affords her the institutional knowledge and expertise other candidates do not have.
Her service as a grand juror for the 2nd Judicial District and a Field Registrar at our naturalization ceremonies provided a unique insight to the decline of safety in our community and the financial barriers for migrants who love our country and respect our laws.

Tracey is committed to rebuilding our elections department to meet and exceed NRS standards, expanding facilities and improving services for our seniors and veterans, auditing the organizational structure, and ensuring public safety resources are matching community growth.
She will strengthen representation of Board of Commissioner meetings by establishing standards for a standing agenda item in each district to ensure ALL districts have the opportunity to have their issues addressed; ensure one meeting per month is held during evening hours to provide opportunity for ALL residents to have their voice heard; work with agencies to address the mismanagement of the homeless population as well as the mental and drug issues within; move to expedite major arterials from Wingfield Springs to I-80 and Spanish Springs to US-395; and ensure infrastructure is prioritized over development.
